Tracy Merth is in her second season as the Golden Gophers[apos] graduate assistant in 2013-14. She returns to Minnesota after serving as the women[apos]s novice coach at the University of St. Thomas during the spring of 2012.
Prior to her stint with the Tommies, Merth was a volunteer coach for the Gophers during the 2011-12 season. She was a member of the Minnesota rowing team from 2008-11 and earned All-Big Ten Second Team honors in her senior campaign.
Merth graduated from Minnesota in 2011 with a degree in environmental science, policy and management and she is currently pursuing her Master[apos]s of Education in applied kinesiology-sport management.
