2021 Cross Country • Graduate Season: Named an Academic All-Big Ten honoree • scored in all six of his races • posted a career-best 10K time of 30:49.9 in his NCAA Championship debut, crossing 174th overall and fourth on the team • finished third on the team and 26th overall at the Regional meet • at the Big Ten Championships, registered a personal best 5.2 Mile time of 25:26.5 for a 22nd overall finish • came in 103rd overall and third on the team in the men’s championship race at the Nuttycombe Invitational • placed 17th and second on the team in the men’s gold 8K race at the Roy Griak Invite • opened the season with a 31st place finish at the Spiked Shoe Invite, crossing fifth on the team.

2019 Cross Country • Redshirt Junior Season: Named Academic All-Big Ten • earned second letter in cross country • ran five races, finishing second on the team in four of five competitions • finished third overall at the Oz Memorial four-mile in 20:37.9 • finished second on the team and 10th overall at the Paul Short Run, clocking an 8K career-best time of 23:40.4, which ranks as the seventh-fastest 8K by a Gopher in program history • finished 32nd overall and second on the team at Pre-Nationals • finished as the second Gopher in 37th overall at the Big Ten Championships, posting an 8K time of 24:50.9 • placed 31st at the NCAA Midwest Regional, running 31:41.0 for 10K.

2018 Cross Country • Redshirt Sophomore Season: Named Academic All-Big Ten • earned first letter in cross country • competed in five meets, scoring in all five competitions • recorded career-best 8K times in three-straight meets • opened the season at the Oz Memorial four-mile, running 20:18.9 to finish fourth overall • set a new 8K career best of 25:06.1 at the Griak Invitational, finishing 18th • clocked an 8K career-best time of 24:55.6 to finish 79th at Pre-Nationals • finished 31st at the Big Ten Championships with a career-best 8K time of 24:27.9 • finished 30th at the NCAA Midwest Regional (31:44.0 for 10K).

2019 Outdoor Track & Field • Redshirt Sophomore Season: Named USTFCCCA All-Academic and Academic All-Big Ten honoree • earned second letter in track & field • competed in the 1,500 meters, 5,000 meters, and 3,000-meter steeplechase with four top-10 finishes • ran a 5,000-meter personal record of 14:11.80 to finish eighth at Drake Relays • recorded a 3,000-meter steeplechase personal record of 8:54.09 at the NCAA West Preliminary to finish 21st • scored for the Maroon & Gold at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships with a seventh-place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase • finished third in the 1,500 meters at the Tomcat Twilight (3:54.59).
2017 Cross Country • Redshirt Freshman Season: Competed in three meets • made his season debut at the Griak Invitational, finishing 129th (29:09.6 for 8K) • ran in the open race at the Wisconsin Nuttycombe Invitational, finishing 78th (26:36.1 for 8K) • finished fourth at the Fall Finale, clocking a career-best 8K time of 26:07.
2018 Indoor Track & Field • Redshirt Freshman Season: Ran four races • posted a season-best time of 4:12.40 to finish fourth in the mile at the Jack Johnson Classic • won the mile at the Minnesota Open • finished as runner-up in the 3,000 meters (8.27:8) at the Emmerich Invite • ran 14:29.98 to place 40th in the 5,000 meters at the Iowa State Classic

2016 Cross Country • Freshman Season: Redshirted the 2016 cross country season, racing at three meets as an unattached competitor • finished 25th at the four-mile Oz Memorial (21:08.6) • finished 139th at the Roy Griak Invitational (26:56.4 for 8K) • closed out his collegiate season with an eighth-place showing at the Fall Finale (26:32 for 8K) • placed third at the 2016 Twin Cities 5K (15:01).
2017 Indoor Track & Field • Freshman Season: Redshirted the 2017 indoor track & field season • ran four races while competing unattached • clocked a season-best time of 2:33.51 in the 1,000 meters at the UST Showcase • finished as runner-up in the mile (4:14.11) at the Snowshoe Open • finished fourth in the 3,000 meters (8:42.28) at the Jack Johnson Classic.
2017 Outdoor Track & Field • Freshman Season: Redshirted the 2017 outdoor track & field season • ran five races while competing unattached • recorded a season-best time of 3:53.79 in the 1,500 meters to place fifth at the Holst Invitational • ran a season-best 14:54.46 in the 5,000 meters to finish seventh at the Tomcat Twilight • finished third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (9:24.37) at the Bear Cat Twilight.
High School: A 2016 graduate of Edina High School • earned all-state and all-conference honors in 2015 and 2016 • a three-time Lake Conference champion (twice in the 1,600 meters, one in the 800 meters) • competed for Jamie Kirkpatrick and Johnny Davis at Edina • closed out his prep career by leading Edina to a runner-up finish at the state meet including three top-four individual performances (second in the 3,200 meters, third in the 1,600 meters and fourth in the 5,000 meters) • seven-time athletic letter winner (four in cross country, three in track) • a two-time academic all-state honoree • also earned one letter in community service • holds Edina school records in the 1,600 meters (4:13) and the 4x800 meter relay (7:52) • competed with the Edina Cross Country Club, earning all-region honors at Nike Cross Regionals and advancing to Nike Cross Nationals • competed with the Edina Track Club and ran at the New Balance Nationals Outdoor.
Personal: Native of Edina, Minn. • son of Steve and Nicole Manderscheid • has one brother, Alec, and one sister, Jena • lists running up the final hill at the MSHSL state cross country meet as his biggest sports thrill • enjoys camping, hiking, scuba diving, and mountain biking • Mechanical Engineering major.
