Game Highlights: Tossed two scoreless, hitless innings of relief against Pepperdine on Feb. 15 · threw 1 2/3 hitless frames and tied his career high with four strikeouts against SDSU on Feb. 26.

2019 | SUMMER Competed for the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders of the Northwoods League · made three appearances, finishing with a 2.25 ERA in four innings pitched.

2019 | SOPHOMORE Made 16 appearances including one start for Minnesota, finished 1-2 with a 4.68 ERA in 32.2 innings, striking out 30 batters · received David Chelesnik Jr. Memorial Award voted on by teammates. Game Highlights: Struck out four batters in 1.1 scoreless innings vs. Augsburg on March 27 · struck out four batters in 2.0 scoreless innings vs. Nebraska on March 31 · tossed 8.0 scoreless innings in four consecutive scoreless appearances from May 4 through May 12 · made his first collegiate start at Northwestern on May 17, throwing 4.0 innings · tossed 3.2 scoreless innings with four strikeouts vs. Iowa at the Big Ten Tournament on May 24.

2018 | SUMMER Competed for the Mankato MoonDogs of the Northwoods League · finished 1-1 with a 5.82 ERA in 12 games, striking out 17 in 17.0 innings.

2018 | FRESHMAN Made five appearances out of the Gophers bullpen · missed time after having his appendix removed · finished with a 0-0 record and a team-leading 1.17 ERA. Highlights: Tossed 3.0 innings in his collegiate debut at Georgia State, the only appearance where he would allow a run, while striking out four batters · pitched the ninth inning in the exhibition against the Minnesota Twins on Feb. 22 · returned to the mound after a 47-day absence with 1.1 shutout innings at Purdue · tossed one inning as Minnesota shut out Concordia-St. Paul on May 1.

HIGH SCHOOL A 2017 graduate of South St. Paul High School · played and started during four seasons as a pitcher, outfielder, and first baseman for coach Dan Cosgrove and South St. Paul · ranked No. 3 overall prospect in Minnesota and No. 41 nationally by Prep Baseball Report · ranked no. 2 left-handed pitching prospect in Minnesota and no. 96 nationally by Perfect Game · named a 2017 Rawlings-Perfect Game All-American Honorable Mention and All-Central Region Honorable Mention · named a 2016 Perfect Game Underclass High Honorable Mention · earned All-Metro East Conference honors during his senior and junior seasons with the Packers and an Honorable Mention in 2015 · earned an All-State selection during his 2017 campaign · served as team captain for three years · named the St. Paul Lions Athlete of the Year · earned six All-Conference selections and three All-State selections during a six-year wrestling career and an All-Star selection as a two-way player (quarterback/wide receiver/defensive back) for the South St. Paul football team.
