Competed in pommel horse prelims at the 2016 NCAA Championships, recording a score of 12.700 • tallied a 13.850 on pommel horse during prelims of the B1G Championships • competed on pommel horse during each meet of the regular season • tallied a career-high of 14.350 on pommel horse vs. Air Force • made his collegiate debut on pommel horse at the Windy City Invitational.

Level 10 in Cincinatti • finished ninth all-around at the 2011 Junior Olympic Div. Level 9 meet in Long Beach took eighth in the all-around at the 2010 Junior Olympic Div. Born April 4, 1997 • son of James and Deanne Wangler • has three siblings (Nicole, Rachel and Mitchel) • older sister Nicole was a gymnast at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse • enjoys backpacking and hiking • majoring in graphic design.
