2025-26 Women's Hockey Year in Review

>> Minnesota finished 2025-26 with a 26-12-1 record and third in the WCHA with a 18-9-1 mark. The Golden Gophers qualified for the NCAA Tournament for a nation-leading 23rd time.

>> Abbey Murphy capped a remarkable career by being named a CCM first-team All-American, WCHA Forward of the Year and a top-three finalist for the Patty Kazmaier Award. She became the school's career goal scoring record with 143 and ranked second in total points.

>> Murphy joined Gopher alums Grace Zumwinkle, Taylor Heise, Lee Stecklein and Kelly Pannek to lead Team USA to a gold medal at the Milan Olympics.

>> Sydney Morrow became a two-time All-American after earning second-team accolades. She ranked second in the nation among defenders with 30 assists and 38 points.

>> Nelli Laitinen finished her time with the Maroon and Gold by being named a second-team All-American. She set career highs in goals (10), assists (20) and points (30).
