Jacob Niedermann

Jake Niedermann joined the University of Minnesota staff in February 2019 and is an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach.
He came to Minnesota from Elon where he was the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for one season. Prior to him time at Elon, Niedermann spent two seasons at Harvard working with 35 Division I athletic teams as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. He was also the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa for one year.
Niedermann earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in 2013 from Central College in Pella, Iowa with a focus in exercise science. Niedermann also holds a M.S. in Applied Health and Sport Science - Athletic Administration from Northwest Missouri State.
The Oskaloosa, Iowa native also served as a student strength and conditioning coach at Central College and volunteered with Harvard's Strength and Conditioning team in the summer of 2012.
