Pat Walker joined the University of Minnesota in August 2021 and is a strength and conditioning graduate assistant on the football team.Â
In this position, Walker works with the strength and conditioning staff and works to develop the entire athlete. It’s his mission to develop strong, fit and dynamic student-athletes while concurrently keeping or improving the athlete’s movements and minimizing injury time.
Prior to Minnesota, Walker was an Assistant Performance Coach and Defensive Assistant at Charlotte. He also spent time at Austin Peay State University as a Defensive Assistant.Â
Walker graduated from East Central Community College with a liberal arts degree and continued his education at Austin Peay State University where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in health and human performance, K-12 education. Walker was a four-year starter as a student-athlete and earned all-conference linebacker honors.
Walker is a certified strength and conditioning coach.
