Steven Ruzic

Steven Ruzic joined the Minnesota football staff as Director of Recruiting Communications in the summer of 2019.Â
Previously Ruzic was at the University of Mississippi as the Head Recruiting Specialist for just over a year. He helped sign a top-25 ranked class while heading a room that assisted with all oversight in the recruiting and evaluation process.
From July 2017-March 2018, Ruzic was an Assistant to the Director of Player Personal and a Defensive Analyst at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga. There he helped sign the No. 3 ranked class in all of FCS and the highest ranked class in program history. He was in charge of overseeing all official and unofficial visits while assisting with the day-to-day operations on the defensive side of the ball.Â
Ruzic got his start in football as a student assistant coach at Valdosta State University from February 2010-December 2013. He is a native of Warner Robins, Ga. and is the son of a High School football coach.Â
