2017 - SOPHOMORE SEASON:  Played in nine games and started the final six of the season - completed 41.5 percent of his passes for 674 yards and four touchdowns - rushed 79 times for 311 yards and four touchdowns. Game-by-Game: Completed 7-of-11 passes against Buffalo and also rushed six times for 32 yards in his first game action since Nov. 7, 2015, at Ohio State where he played one snap - lone rush at Oregon State was a 64-yard touchdown, which was the first of his career - completed 11-of-20 passes for 163 yards and three touchdowns (first touchdown passes of his career and all to Tyler Johnson) versus Michigan State - rushed seven times for 31 yards against the Spartan - passed for one touchdown and rushed for 32 yards against Illinois - passed for 139 yards at Iowa - started at Michigan - passed for 105 yards and rushed 10 times for 183 yards (school record for a quarterback) and three touchdowns against Nebraska - started at Northwestern and against Wisconsin. 

2016: Redshirted.

2015 - FRESHMAN SEASON:
Played in three games as a reserve - completed 7-of-17 passes for 34 yards - rushed nine times for 38 yards.Game-by-Game:  Made his collegiate and season debut at Northwestern, where he was 5-of-11 for 27 yards - first offensive play of his career was a rush for 11 yards - completed 2-of-5 passes for seven yards at Purdue and also rushed three times for 34 yards - replaced an injured Mitch Leidner for one play at Ohio State. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Boylan High School - played in 10 games as a senior and passed for 2,011 yards and 21 touchdowns - also rushed for 845 yards and 10 scores - named Honorable Mention All-State - competed in the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando where he completed 12-of-15 passes for 213 yards and two touchdowns - saw action in 12 games as a junior and passed for 1,879 yards and 16 passes, while rushing for 685 yards and 12 scores - coached by John Cacciatore - ranked as a three-star prospect by ESPN, Rivals, 247Sports and Scout - 247Sports taged him as the No. 7 prospect in Illinois, while Rivals had him at No. 18 and ESPN listed him at No. 41 - 247Sports ranked him as the No. 18 dual-threat quarterback in his class, while Rivals slotted him at No. 29 in their quarterback rankings and ESPN had him at No. 48 - Scout listed him as a the No. 1 quarterback in Illinois, the No. 4 quarterback in the Midwest and the No. 26 quarterback in the nation - also lettered in basketball, track and bowling.

PERSONAL: Born Aug. 1, 1997 - son of Robert and Shereese Croft - has two sisters (Brooke and Sabiyah).
