2017 - SENIOR SEASON: Played in 12 games and made four catches for 86 yards - received the team's Paul Giel Award (unselfishness and most concern for Minnesota). Game-by-Game: Started against Buffalo and made one catch for 23 yards - competed at Oregon State and against Middle Tennessee - made two catches for 54 yards against Maryland - competed at Purdue and made one tackle on special teams - started against Michigan State and Illinois - caught one pass for nine yards at Iowa - competed at Michigan and against Nebraska - started at Northwestern and against Wisconsin. 

2016 - JUNIOR SEASON: Played in 11 games and made nine catches for 125 yards - Academic All-Big Ten. Game-by-Game: Missed the Oregon State game with an injury - returned to action against Indiana State, but did not record any statistics - caught one pass for 13 yards against Colorado State and played at Penn State - saw action at Maryland and caught one pass for four yards against Rutgers - competed on special teams and on offense at Illinois - made three catches for 69 yards against Purdue - caught one pass for six yards at Nebraska and reeled in two balls for 24 yards against Northwestern - made one catch for nine yards at Wisconsin - competed against Washington State.  

2015 - SOPHOMORE SEASON: Played in 10 games and started three - missed two games because of injury - caught 23 passes for 255 yards and one touchdown - Academic All-Big Ten. Game-by-Game: Made his first career start against TCU and caught four passes for 25 yards - hauled in three passes for 32 yards at Colorado State - recorded four catches for 33 yards against Kent State - made three catches for 27 yards against Ohio - hauled in three passes for 37 yards at Northwestern - competed at Purdue, but did not record any statistics - made four catches against Nebraska for a career high 91 yards - caught his first career touchdown, a 24-yard connection from Mitch Leidner, against Nebraska - missed the Michigan and Ohio State games with an injury - did not play against Iowa - returned to the lineup against Illinois, but did not record any statistics - competed against Wisconsin - caught two passes for 10 yards against Central Michigan.

2014 - FRESHMAN SEASON: Played in eight games, mostly on special teams. Game-by-Game: Made Minnesota and collegiate debut against Eastern Illinois, but did not record any stats - played against Middle Tennessee - caught first pass of his career, a 4-yard reception from Mitch Leidner, at TCU - competed against San Jose State, at Michigan and against Northwestern and Purdue - competed against Iowa.

2013: Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Lake Gibson Senior High School - caught 51 passes for 801 yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior - rushed for one touchdown - led his team to a perfect 10-0 regular season record (the first in school history) and the 2012 Class 6A District 10 title - represented Lake Gibson at the Florida Athletic Coaches Association's North-South All-Star Football Classic in Sebring, Fla. - recorded 865 receiving yards on 49 receptions as a junior, which included six touchdown catches - coached by Keith Demyer - earned a three-star ranking from Rivals.com and two-stars from Scout.com - listed as the No. 76 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 95 overall prospect in Florida by Rivals.com - ranked as the No. 246 wide receiver in the nation by Scout.com

PERSONAL: Born February 25, 1995 - son of Eric L. Carter and Vicki Thompson - has three brothers (Sammie, Gavin and Emari) and one sister (Breanna).
