2018 • SENIOR SEASON: Played in all 13 games and started one • recorded 21 tackles, two sacks, recovered two fumbles and intercepted one pass • recognized as a Quad Team member for playing on all four special teams units  Academic All-Big Ten. Game-by-Game: Recorded two tackles including a sack against New Mexico State • saw action against Fresno State, Miami and Maryland • notched one tackle against Iowa • competed against Ohio State and Nebraska • registered one tackle against Indiana • recovered a fumble at Illinois • tallied four tackles against Purdue • saw action against Northwestern • intercepted one pass and added four tackles against Wisconsin • led team with nine tackles and recovered one fumble in Quick Lane Bowl victory over Georgia Tech. 

2017 • JUNIOR SEASON: Played in all 12 games and recorded 11 tackles • Academic All-Big Ten. Game-by-Game: Played against Buffalo • notched two tackles against Oregon State • recorded two tackles against Middle Tennessee • made one tackle against Maryland • saw action against Purdue • tallied two tackles against Michigan State • saw action against Illinois and Iowa • tallied two tackles including one for a loss against Michigan • competed against Nebraska, Northwestern and Wisconsin. 

2016 • SOPHOMORE SEASON: Played in all 13 games and started one • made 30 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, forced two fumbles and recovered two fumbles. Game-by-Game: Recorded six tackles against Oregon State • notched four tackles and forced one fumble against Indiana State • made three tackles and forced one fumble against Colorado State • recorded one tackle at Penn State • notched two tackles against Iowa and one at Maryland • registered five tackles against Rutgers and two at Illinois • recovered one fumble and had one tackle for a loss against Purdue • saw action against Nebraska • recovered one fumble, broke up one pass and had three tackles against Northwestern • made one tackle at Wisconsin • made one tackle against Washington State. 

2015 • FRESHMAN SEASON: Played in 13 games and made one start • made 22 tackles, including 2.5 sacks for a loss of 26 yards • recorded a pass breakup and fumble recovery. Game-by-Game: Tallied seven tackles in first career game and start against TCU • registered two tackles at Colorado State • sacked the quarterback on a key third-down stop late in the fourth quarter versus Kent State • broke up a pass against Ohio • saw action at Northwestern and versus Michigan, but did not record a statistic • tallied a solo tackle at Purdue • registered two tackles versus Nebraska • tallied a pair of tackles at Ohio State • registered a tackle at Iowa • totaled three tackles, including 1.5 sacks for a loss of 17 yards, and recovered a fumble versus Illinois • competed but did not record a statistic against Wisconsin • recorded three solo tackles, including 1.0 tackle-for-loss, versus Central Michigan.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Bolingbrook High School, where he helped lead the Raiders to an 8-4 record (5-2 in conference play) as a senior • named to the Class 8A All-State First Team as a senior • received Herald News All-Area honors and Chicago Sun Times All-Area Honorable Mention in 2014 • made 75 tackles (48 solo) as a senior • nine of his tackles went for loss, including seven sacks • added seven pass breakups, two interceptions, two fumble recoveries and one blocked punt • rushed for 187 yards and nine touchdowns as a fullback • coached by John Ivlow • a three-star recruit according to ESPN and a two-star recruit according to Rivals, 247Sports and Scout • ranked the No. 29 player in Illinois by ESPN and 45th by 247Sports • tabbed the No. 36 inside linebacker by ESPN and No. 77 by 247Sports • also lettered in baseball and wrestling.

PERSONAL: Born May 19, 1997 • son of Sam and Dee Huff • has three brothers (Jacob, Jaden and Micah) and one sister (Jan) • identical twin brother Jacob is a defensive back for the Gophers • brother Jaden is a running back at Northern Illinois and previously played at St. Cloud State • has already graduated with a degree in Applied Economics.
