HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Ensworth High School in Nashville, Tennessee • wore No. 25 for the Tigers and was coached by Timothy Hasselbeck • ended career with 10 interceptions (ranks in the top three in school history) and 73 receptions (second most in school history) for 1,053 yards (third most in school history) • also scored eight touchdowns, broke up 10 passes and returned kicks and punts • helped lead team to a region championship and was twice named All-State and All-Region • consensus three-star recruit • 2447Sports ranked him as the No. 12 prospect in Tennessee and as the No. 37 safety in the nation • also competed in basketball and track • basketball team advanced to the state semifinals.
 
PERSONAL: Son of Maurice and Jasmin Hopkins • has one brother (Jaxon).
