2017 - FRESHMAN?SEASON: Played in eight games - recorded 12 tackles, forced one fumble and recovered one fumble. Game-by-game: Made collegiate debut and notched one tackle against Maryland - recorded one tackle against Purdue - saw action against Michigan State - broke up one pass against Illinois - forced and recovered a fumble at Iowa - missed the Michigan game due to injury - returned to action and tallied six tackles against Nebraska - competed against Northwestern - registered three tackles against Wisconsin.Â
HIGH SCHOOL: Attends Jackson High School in Jackson, Alabama - wore No. 11 for the Aggies - played safety and wide receiver - as a senior, recorded 72 tackles (32 solo), six pass breakups and four interceptions as team advanced to the Class 5A semifinals - forced three fumbles and recovered one fumble - made 36 receptions for 698 yards and five touchdowns - rushed 23 times for 321 yards and six touchdowns - Alabama Sports Writers Association All-State First-Team honoree in 2016 and 2015 - Scout gave him four stars, while Rivals, ESPN and 247 Sports gave him three - Scout named him the No. 1 safety in Alabama and the No. 26 safety in the nation - 247 Sports ranked him the No. 47 safety in the nation and the No. 30 prospect in Alabama - ESPN listed him as the No. 41 recruit in Alabama and the No. 62 player at his position in the nation - coached by Danny Powell.
