HIGH SCHOOL: Attended East Ridge High School • wore No. 9 for the Raptors • competed as a two-way player at running back and linebacker • three-year varsity starter for East Ridge • as a senior, rushed for 1,102 yards and 14 touchdowns on 180 carries, translating to 6.1 yards-per-attempt • named Offensive MVP of the Metro East Conference while receiving All-Metro East Conference honors for the second consecutive year • nominated for the 2019 Minnesota Mr. Football award • as a junior, rushed for 179 yards and six touchdowns on just 30 carries, equating to 6.0 yards-per-attempt • recorded 30 tackles, two tackles for loss, two sacks and one forced fumble on the defensive side • also competed in Track & Field for two seasons and was an All-Conference recipient both years • coached by Dan Fritze.
