HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Andover High School in Andover, Minn. • wore No. 5 for the Huskies and was coached by Thomas Develice • as a senior, played on offense, defense and special teams and helped lead Andover to the state semifinals • made 45 tackles and had two tackles for loss • broke up five passes, grabbed one interception and forced one fumble • rushed 18 times for 135 yards and four touchdowns and also caught two passes for 18 yards and one touchdown • returned seven kickoffs for 294 yards and two touchdowns • as a junior, recorded 58 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, seven pass breakups and one interception • ranked as the No. 8 prospect in Minnesota by On3 • also ran track in high school.
