HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Downers Grove North High School in Downers Grove, Illinois • wore No. 1 for the Trojans and was coached by Joe Horeni • threw for more than 60 touchdowns and 5.000 passing yards in his high school career • as a senior, led team to a 10-3 record and a spot in the state semifinals • named County Player of the Year, Conference Player of the Year, All- State and All-Conference • as a junior, led team to the state quarterfinals and guided the team to the Class 7A state championship as a sophomore • consensus three-star prospect • listed as the No. 29 recruit in Illinois and as the No. 41 quarterback in the nation by ESPN • also competed in track.  

PERSONAL: Son of Brian and Jill Lansu • has a twin sister (Ava) • father, Brian, played college football at DePauw.
