2014 · Redshirt Junior Season: Named team co-captain · Big Ten Sportsmanship Award recipient · ran seven races · placed 23rd overall and eighth on the team at the BYU Autumn Classic, finishing the three-mile course in 18:58.1 · finished as the seventh Gopher and 86th runner overall at the Griak Invitational in 22:52.1 · finished seventh for the Gophers and 10th overall at the SDSU Classic 5K in 18:17.4 · finished seventh on the team in 22:29 at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational · placed 67th at the Big Ten Championships in 21:42.5 as the sixth Gopher in 67th place overall · ran a career-best time of 21:38.8 at the NCAA Midwest Regional as the sixth Gopher in 93rd overall · finished sixth for the Gophers in 22:45.3 at the NCAA Championship, placing 239th overall in her NCAA debut · Academic All-Big Ten selection.
2013 · Redshirt Sophomore Season: Raced in four meets · posted a season-best 6K time of 22:18 as the Gophers' sixth runner (33rd overall) at the open race of the Wisconsin adidas Invitational · was the 11th Gopher at two meets, coming in 13th overall at the SDSU Classic 5K (18:13.94) and 90th overall at the Griak Invitational (22:27.8) · posted a time of 23:41.4 at the Oz Memorial to open the season.
2012 · Redshirt Freshman Season: Finished fourth on the team (32nd overall) in the Wisconsin adidas open race with a season-best time of 21:39 · finished second overall (first on the team) at the Blugold Invite in 21:47.46 · also finished second (and second on the team) at both Jack's Run (22:41.79) and Rocky's Run (22:50) · competed in six races overall · Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and Academic All-Big Ten selection.
2011 · Freshman Season: Redshirted the 2011 cross country season and the 2012 indoor and outdoor track & field seasons.
High School: A 2011 graduate of Fayetteville High School in Fayetteville, Ark. · high school coach was Michelle Fyfe · cross country team placed third in the state in her junior year and fourth during her senior year · also participated in track & field and golf · team won state championships in both golf and track & field her senior year · two-time all-state runner · part of the school record 4x800m relay team at the state championships · National Honor Society and academic honor roll member.
Personal: Born November 5, 1992 · majoring in kinesiology · daughter of Chris and Cindy Bucknam · father is the track & field head coach at the University of Arkansas · has one older brother named Eric.
