Big Ten All-Freshman Team selection • skated in 34 games as a rookie with 30 points (11 goals, 19 assists) • finished second on the team in scoring with 30 points, tied for second on the team with 19 assists and fourth on the team with 11 goals • missed three games while helping the U.S. National Junior Team capture a bronze medal at the 2018 IIHF World Junior Championship • was named MVP of the tournament after leading the event with 11 points (four goals, seven assists) in seven games • earned first letter. 

HIGH SCHOOL/JUNIORS
Split the 2016-17 season between Green Bay in the USHL and Eden Prairie High School • closed out his prep career at Eden Prairie by leading the Eagles to the state tournament for the fourth-straight season • the 2017 Mr. Hockey Award recipient • named the 2017 USA Today All-USA Athlete of the Year • repeated as the Associated Press Player of the Year and a First Team All-State honoree as well as the USA Today All-USA Boys Hockey Player of the Year and a First Team selection (2016, 2017) • two-time MSHSL all-state honoree (2016, 2017) • served as captain at Eden Prairie as a senior and alternate captain as a junior • competed at the 2016 USA Hockey/CCM All-American Prospects Game and was named the event's MVP • continues the Eden Prairie pipeline to Minnesota that includes Stanley Cup champion Nick Leddy, Kyle Rau, Nick Seeler and Mitch Rogge.
