Academic All-Big Ten honoree • Started off his junior year with the team by competing on floor (12.850), pommel horse (10.350) and parallel bars (12.650) in the team's season opener against Iowa • made his season debut on rings (12.100) against Ohio State, while improving on his pommel horse score from earlier in the season by posting a 10.950 in the event • set a new career high on pommel horse with a 12.100 against Nebraska • set a new career high on floor at home against Penn State (13.650) • set a new season high on parallel bars (12.850) in the team's regular season finale against Illinois.

Competed on floor, rings, parallel bars and high bar • Academic All-Big Ten and Big Ten Distinguished Scholar selection • saw action in every regular season meet • made junior debut at Rocky Mountain Open and competed floor, rings, p-bars and high bar • made the floor lineup at Windy City Invitational • saw action on rings and high bar versus Illinois • took fourth place on rings at Iowa with a score of 13.550 and scored 12.500 on rings • took fourth on rings against Washington with a season high (12.950) and also competed floor and p-bars • scored career highs on both floor and p-bars with matching scores of 13.600 at Nebraska and also added a career-best 12.800 on high bar • finished the season at Michigan and earned a 12.850 to tie for seventh on p-bars, also competed floor
