2017-18 | JUNIOR SEASON
Appeared in 26 games and made 24 starts as a junior for the Gophers • posted a 12-12-1 record with three shutouts, a 2.69 GAA and a .901 save percentage • earned his fifth career assist and point as well as his first shutout of the year in a 2-0 win over Union on Oct. 7, 2017 • also picked up shutouts over Michigan State on Nov. 4, 2017 and Army West Point on Dec. 29, 2017 • made 94-consecutive starts to begin his career with the Maroon & Gold, the longest streak in program history and the fourth-longest streak in NCAA history • closed out the season as the NCAA active leader with 55 career wins while his 11 career shutouts were tied for the NCAA lead among active goalies • Academic All-Big Ten and a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar • AHCA All-American Scholar • earned Minnesota's Dr. V. 2016-17 | SOPHOMORE SEASON
Repeated as the Big Ten Goaltender of the Year as well as a First Team All-Big Ten selection • started all 38 games for the Gophers during his second collegiate season • posted a 23-12-3 record • topped the Big Ten in victories (23), shutouts (five), saves (984) and minutes played (2,297:47) • posted career bests in save percentage (.908) and goals against average (2.61) • recorded a shutout in the season opener, making 14 saves at Alaska Anchorage on Oct. 7, 2016 • shut out three foes at home: North Dakota on Nov. 5, Minnesota State on Nov. 19, and Michigan State on March 10 • made a season-high 59 saves in a double overtime thriller against Penn State in the Big Ten Tournament on March 17, 2017 • added three assists during the 2016-17 season • earned second letter.

The 2016 Big Ten Goaltender of the Year, a First Team All-Big Ten honoree and a Big Ten All-Rookie Team member • Mike Richter Award nominee, just one of four freshman goaltenders to be nominated for the award that recognizes the nation's best goaltender • started all 37 games for the Gophers as a rookie • posted a 20-17-0 record with his 20 wins leading the Big Ten and ranking first among all NCAA rookie netminders • posted his first career win and first career shutout against Northeastern on Oct. 23 • added two road shutouts against Minnesota State on Nov. 13 and Wisconsin on Jan. 22 • made a season-high 36 saves against Penn State on Jan. 8 • added his first career point with an assist in a 9-2 win at Wisconsin on Jan. 23 • named the Frank Pond Rookie of the Year • earned first letter.
