CAREER NOTES AND HONORS
Skated for the Gophers from 2013-16 • recorded 94 points (46 goals, 48 assists) in 115 career games at Minnesota • helped the Maroon & Gold earn three-straight Big Ten regular-season conference titles as well as the 2015 Big Ten playoff title • missed only two games in his career to represent the U.S. at two IIHF World Junior Championships • Second Team All-Big Ten (2016), Big Ten All-Freshman Team and Honorable Mention (2014) • alternate captain (2015-16) • John Mayasich Outstanding Student-Athlete (2015-2016) • Frank Pond Rookie of the Year (2013-2014) • Academic All-Big Ten (2015, 2016) • three-year letter winner • signed an entry-level contract with the Buffalo Sabres on March 21, 2016 -- foregoing his senior season with Minnesota.

2014-15 | SOPHOMORE SEASON

2013-14 | FRESHMAN SEASON

Represented the U.S. at the 2014 IIHF World Junior Championships in Sweden and the 2015 IIHF World Junior Championships in Canada • a product of the U.S. National Development Team program • earned a silver medal with Team USA at the U-18 World Championships, tallying six points.

HIGH SCHOOL/JUNIORS
Spent two seasons with the U.S. National Development Team Program in Ann Arbor • tallied a total of 36 points (11 goals, 25 assists) in 2012-13 after totaling 34 points (15 goals, 19 assists) in 54 games the previous season • before joining the USNDTP, skated for Apple Valley High School as a freshman and sophomore • scored 50 points (18 goals, 32 assists) in 28 games in his final prep season after recording 42 points (24 goals, 18 assists) in 31 games during the 2009-10 season • played alongside Gophers teammate A.J. Michaelson at Apple Valley.

PERSONAL
Born July 28, 1995 • son of Rick and Shannon Fasching • has one brother, Cooper, and one sister, Mallory • selected 118th overall in the fourth round of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft by the Los Angeles Kings, his rights were traded to the Buffalo Sabres during the 2013-14 season.
