Played in all 38 games as a senior for the Gophers ⹠recorded 21 points (four goals, 17 assists) over the course of the season ⹠Minnesota was 4-0-0 when he recorded a goal ⹠did not go more than two games without a point after the start of December ⹠led Minnesota in face offs taken (527) and face offs won (276) ⹠Academic All-Big Ten ⹠earned fourth letter.
2017-18 | JUNIOR SEASON
Skated in 34 games as a junior for the Maroon & Gold ⹠recorded 26 points (three goals, 23 assists) over the course of the season ⹠led Minnesota with 23 assists, a new single-season career high âą notched six multi-point games including a trio of three-point performances to match his career single-game high ⹠five of his assists came on game-winning goals ⹠notched three assists in a 6-3 win over Penn State on Oct. 13, 2017 -- setting a new career single-game high for assists ⹠matched the feat in a 5-4 win over Wisconsin on Dec. 1, 2017 ⹠also recorded two points and a goal at Michigan on Nov. 10, 2017 âą notched his first career shorthanded goal at Michigan State on Jan. 18, 2018 âą Academic All-Big Ten ⹠earned third letter.Â
2016-2017 | SOPHOMORE SEASON
Donned the Maroon & Gold in 20 games before being sidelined by a knee injury âą tallied 14 points (five goals, nine assists) ⹠netted his first goal of the season and a two-point night against St. Cloud State on Oct. 21, 2016 âą notched a three-game scoring streak Nov. 4-18, including a three-point effort against North Dakota on Nov. 4, 2016 âą earned points in his final two games of the season, including a goal and an assist against Michigan on Jan. 13, 2017 âą Academic All-Big Ten âąÂ earned second letter.Â
2015-2016 | FRESHMAN SEASON
Skated in all 37 games as a freshman for the Gophers ⹠finished fifth on the team in scoring with 27 points (six goals, 21 assists) ⹠his 21 assists were second most among Gophers ⹠notched a goal and an assist for his first points with Minnesota as well as his first career multi-point game against Northeastern on Oct. 23 ⹠his goal against Northeastern proved to be the game winner âą later went on to record streaks of eight-straight games with a point and five-straight games with a point ⹠added the game-winning goal against Michigan State on March 4 ⹠recorded points in 22 of 37 contests including five multi-point games ⹠earned first letter.Â
JUNIORS/HIGH SCHOOL
Skated for the Waterloo Black Hawks in the USHL for the 2014-15 season and was named to the 2014-15 USHL All-Rookie Second Team âą led the team with 34 assists and ranked second on the club with 48 points (14 goals, 34 assists) âą played with fellow Gopher Tyler Sheehy at Waterloo âą previously spent three seasons at St. Thomas Academy for former Gopher Tom Vannelli and helped the team to MSHSL Class A state titles in 2011-12 and 2012-13 âą 2012 Class A Minnesota State Boysâ Hockey All-Tournament Team member âą totaled 151 points (65 goals, 86 assists) in 75 career games with St. Thomas Academy âą led the team in scoring in his final and matched a then St. Thomas Academy record with 70 points (26 goals, 44 assists) in 2013-14 âą his 44 assists in 2013-14 were a St. Thomas Academy record.
INTERNATIONAL
Helped the U.S. Junior Select Team win its sixth tournament title in seven years at the 2014 World Junior A Challenge in Kindersley, Saskatchewan âą led the U.S. and finished second overall in scoring at the tournament with seven points (three goals, four assists) in four games including the overtime winner in the gold-medal game âą named to the 2014 World Junior A Challenge All-Tournament Team âą also won gold with the U.S. Under-17 Select Team at the 2014 Five Nations Tournament in Slovakia âą led all skaters with 11 points (five goals, six assists) at the 2014 Ivan Hlinka Tournament as the U.S. Under-18 Select Team earned a bronze medal in Breclav, Czech Republic and Piestany, Slovakia âą also skated for USA Hockey at the 2013 IIHF Under-18 Four Nations Cup in Kupittaa, Finland.
PERSONAL
Native of River Falls, Wis. âą participated in the 2014 CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game in Buffalo, N.Y. âą skated at the 2015 USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game in Dubuque, Iowa âą selected in the third round (85th overall) by the Nashville Predators in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
