Swam his season-best time in the 100 back at the Spring Speedo Championships (53.39) • had his season-best 200 back time at the Minnesota Challenge (1:54.62) • Academic All-Big Ten.

2009-10 • FRESHMAN SEASON:
Established career-best times in the 50, 100, and 200 back at the Spring Speedo Championships• finished fourth in the 100 back and sixth in the 200 back at the Minnesota Challenge.

HIGH SCHOOL:
A 2009 graduate of Tremper High School in Kenosha, Wis. • finished in consideration for All-American honors in 2009 for 50 free and 100 breast • scored twice at the 2009 Wisconsin State Championships, including a seventh-place finish in the 100 backstroke • competed for South Eastern Aquatics YMCA under head coach Neil Wright.
