Jesse Moore will be entering his third full season with the Minnesota swimming & diving program in 2020-21 after being promoted to the role of associate head coach in May of 2020. Moore previously joined the team as the men's and women's assistant coach on July 2, 2018.

In just two seasons with the Maroon and Gold, Moore has already refreshed the program with his expertise in recruiting and building authentic relationships with student-athletes. In the fall of 2020, Minnesota will welcome one of the best recruiting classes to ever arrive in The Great North, something that can be largely attributed to the excellent work Moore has done on the recruiting trail. In 2019, Moore helped attract a top-16 nationally ranked recruiting class to the U on the women's side.

Prior to Minnesota, Moore was on the staff at Northwestern where he served as the associate head women’s swimming coach for two seasons. During his time at Northwestern, Moore led recruiting efforts while leading training on the deck. In 2017-18, Northwestern finished 21st and 22nd respectively at the NCAA Championships, including two NCAA All-American and NCAA All-American Honorable Mention finishes.

Moore also spent four seasons as an Assistant Coach/Director of Recruiting at Duke University where he worked with the mid-distance free, distance free and 400 IM training groups. As a recruiting coordinator, Duke’s classes of 2018, 2019 and 2020 were ranked 12th, 15th and 11th respectively.

Moore graduated from William and Mary with a Bachelor of Science degree in neuroscience in 2008 before going on to earn a master’s degree in health and management policy from Drexel in 2010 and a MBA from William and Mary School of Business in 2014.
