2018-19 Senior Season: Finished fifth in the 50 free (21.39) at the Florida State Dual.

2017-18 Junior Season: At the Big Ten Championships, placed thirty-ninth in the 50-yard free (20.32), tied for thirty-ninth in the 100-yard back (49.85), and thirty-ninth in the 100-yard free (44.67) • took fourth in the 50-yard free (20.75) and sixth in the 100-yard free (46.37) at the Triple Dual vs Northwestern and Purdue • finished fourth in the 50-yard free (21.18) and sixth in the 100-yard free vs. Denver • placed second in the 50-yard free (21.26) and fifth in the 100-yard free (47.75) against Hawai'i and Drury • took seventh in the 50-yard free (20.90) at the Quad Dual against Michigan, Penn State, and Wisconsin • placed sixth in the 50-yard free (21.22) and eighth in the 100-yard free (47.39) vs. Iowa • finished fourth in the 50-yard free (21.17) and 100-yard free (47.11) vs. Florida State. 

2016-17 Sophomore Season: Improved to 20.27 in the 50-yard free at the Big Ten Championships • earned top-10 finishes in the 50-yard free (20.94) and 100-yard free (46.01) • finished first in the 50-yard free (20.50) at the Jean Freeman Invitational • placed second with a 45.06 at the Jean Freeman Invitational.

2015-16 Freshman Season: First-year letterwinner • at the 2016 Big Ten Championships, Tidd finished 36th in the 50 free and 57th in the 100 free • tallied 10 top-five finishes during the regular season • recorded personal bests in his sprint free sweep of the 50 free and 100 free at the 2016 Minnesota Challenge • made his collegiate debut at Florida State.

High School: 2015 graduate of East Ridge High School • Academic honor-roll • coached by Billy Cuevas and Jake Kemna • four-time varsity swimming letterwinner • four-time academic letterwinner • four-time All-Conference • four-time All-State • six-time All-American • also competed for South East Metro Sharks club team • lists breaking the Minnesota High School State Record in the 100-yard freestyle during his senior year as his most memorable sports thrill. 

Personal: Son of John and Kathleen Tidd • has one younger brother, Jacob • majoring in mathematics-actuarial science.
