Career Notes: Ranks fifth all-time at Minnesota in the 100 breaststroke (53.56).
2012-2013 Senior Season: Won the 200 medley relay, was runner-up in the 100 breast and placed fifth in the 200 breast vs Iowa (11/2) earned first place finishes in the 100 breast, 200 breast and 200 medley relay against Wisconsin (10/26) placed second in the 100 breaststroke and posted the third-fastest time as a member of the 200 medley relay at Michigan (Oct. 5).
2011-2012 Junior Season: Placed in three events at the Big Ten Championships finished sixth in the 100 breast with a career-best time of 53.56 10th in the 200 breast member of the eighth place 200 medley relay earned first, second and third place finishes at the Minnesota Challenge won the 100 breast, second in the 200 breast and third with the 200 medley relay Academic All-Big Ten letterwinner.
2010-11 Sophomore Season: Scored in both breaststroke events at the Big Ten Championships placed fifth in the 100 breast with a career-best time of 53.72 15th in the 200 breast (2:00.26) swam a career-low 1:59.16 in prelims won the 100 breast at the Minnesota Challenge finished eighth in the 100 breast at the Georgia Invitational Academic All-Big Ten letterwinner.
2009-10 Freshman Season: Made Big Ten Championships roster in freshman season had excellent meet, scoring in the 100 breaststroke with a 15th place finish posted a career-low 54.99 in the prelims, a time that ranks 15th all-time at Minnesota also finished 37th in the 200 IM and 25th in the 200 breaststroke letterwinner.
High School: A 2009 graduate of Brainerd High School in Brainerd, Minn. 2007 Minnesota State champion in the 100 breaststroke as a sophomore finished runner-up in the 100 breaststroke at the Minnesota State High School AA Championships in 2008 and 2009 also finaled in the 200 individual medley four-time NISCA All-American competed for the Brainerd YMCA Dolphins under head coach Hal Peterson.
Personal: Born May 10, 1990 double major in journalism and English son of Dan and Kathy Anderson has a younger brother, Trent enjoys writing and hiking.
