2016Â - SENIOR SEASON:
Went 8-4 on the season in 25 appearances for a 3.43 ERA - struck out 53 batters while only walking 12 all season - made 14 relief appearances on the season - threw a 2.51 ERA going 5-2 in B1G play - saw action against Long Beach State - took her first lost on the mound against No. 13/15 Florida State -  struck out four batters and only allowed four hits against Mount St. Mary's - struck out five batters in four innings against St. Francis - entered the game against Houston in the seventh inning, striking out three batters - started in the circle against Western Carolina, going six innings, and took home a win in the circle - pitched the final 3.2 innings against Robert Morris, with two strikeouts - in the win over No. 13 Oklahoma, Anderson only allowed one earned run and three hits in 1.2 innings of work while recording a strikeout - pitched the last three innings against Tulsa - pitched five innings, striking out four, and took home a win in the circle against Purdue - pitched 2.2 innings total on the weekend against Northwestern - earned a win on the mound in the second game against Illinois, pitching three innings - earned a win on the mound in the second game of the Rutgers series, pitching six innings and striking out five while throwing her second career shutout - pitched 2.2 innings, striking out two, in second game of the Nebraska series - pitched two games against Maryland, earning a win on the mound in the second game of the weekend.Â
2015 - JUNIOR SEASON:
Finished the season with a 10-2 record and a 3.36 ERA, recording a career-high 64 strikeouts in 83.1 innings over 25 appearances - nailed down saves against Stanford (March 7) and Nebraska (March 27) - finished 14th in the nation and second in the Big Ten in walks allowed per seven innings with 1.09 - registered the Big Ten's lowest conference ERA at 1.31 and went 6-1 in league contests - held Big Ten opponents to a .212 batting average, the third-best mark in the conference - tossed four complete games - threw her first-career shutout Feb. 15 in an 8-0 win over UMass Lowell - racked up a career-high nine strikeouts in the Gophers' regular-season finale against Purdue (May 2), helping secure Minnesota's winningest conference season - went 2-1 with a 2.21 ERA at Jane Sage Cowles Stadium and was 4-0 with a 2.65 in road games.
2014 - SOPHOMORE SEASON:
Made 22 appearances, 20 of which came in relief - had a 3-1 record and recorded two saves - racked up 51 strikeouts in 42 innings of work - defeated Detroit (Feb. 28) and Murray State (March 7) in her only two starts of the season - struck out a season-best seven batters in her lone loss of the year against Florida International (March 2) - picked up a save against Drake (March 9) and added another save in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinal round against Purdue (May 9) - earned her third win of the season against No. 21/22 Auburn in the Minneapolis NCAA Regional, striking out four over 3.2 scoreless innings to help send the Gophers to their first-ever super regional - came in to finish 19 games, the most in a season in school history and the second-most in the Big Ten - was second in the conference with 20 relief appearances.
2013 - FRESHMAN SEASON:
Made 19 appearances during freshman campaign - pitched 53.2 innings and held an ERA of 4.83 - had one save - gave up 71 hits and 49 runs for the season - made first career appearance against Texas Tech (Feb. 9) - recorded first start against Louisville (Feb. 12) - hurled six innings at Stanford (March 9) - pitched a five-inning complete-game shutout against Illinois (April 13), allowing only three hits and finishing with four strike outs - allowed only three hits and had three strikeouts in 4.2 innings pitched against Iowa (March 23) - Finished with two just two hits and one earned run in final 3.2 innings against Northwestern (March 30).
HIGH SCHOOL:
A 2012 graduate of Brainerd High School, where the left-hander was named Minnesota's Ms. Softball and Minnesota's Gatorade Softball Player of the Year in 2012 - posted a 20-3 record with a 0.80 ERA and struck out 227 batters in 2012 - led the Warriors to Class 3A Sectional semifinals as a senior - two-time all-state and four-time all-conference and all-section honoree - also saw her first varsity action at the plate as a senior and batted .389 with five doubles and 14 RBI - guided the Warriors to back-to-back state tournament berths her sophomore and junior seasons - a dual-sport athlete, Anderson also played on the Brainerd volleyball team for three years.
PERSONAL:
The daughter of Nancy and Art Anderson - her grandfather, Robert Anderson, was a member of the Golden Gopher baseball team that won the NCAA national championship in 1956 - her aunt, Lezlie Vermillion (Anderson), is a member of the Minnesota Softball Hall of Fame.
