2015 - Redshirt Junior Season: Named Academic All-Big Ten honoree - ran seven races - ran a career-best 21:15.1 as the fifth Gopher in 42nd overall at the Big Ten Championship - placed 40th overall as the fifth Gopher at the NCAA Midwest Regional (21:23.8) - placed fifth on the team and 200th overall at the NCAA Championship in 21:37.9 - placed fourth on the team and 34th overall at the Greater Louisville Classic 5K (17:33.25) - finished as the fifth Gopher in 49th overall at the Griak Invitational (22:41.3) - placed sixth on the team at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational (21:32.1) - took 21st overall as the ninth Gopher in the season-opening Oz Memorial (23:07.4).
2014 - Redshirt Sophomore Season: Named Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and Academic All-Big Ten - ran five races - finished 13th overall and sixth on the team at the BYU Autumn Classic three-mile with a time of 18:42.3 - finished sixth on the team and 80th overall at the Griak Invitational in 22:50.2 - placed 11th overall and eighth for Minnesota at the SDSU Classic 5K in 18:29.78 - finished sixth on the team in 22:02 at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational - ran a season-best time of 21:44.6 at the Big Ten Championships as the seventh Gopher in 70th place overall - named an alternate for the NCAA Midwest Regional and NCAA Championships.
2013 - Sophomore Season: Redshirted the 2013 cross country season.
2012 - Freshman Season: Named an alternate at the NCAA Championships and NCAA Midwest Regional - the Gophers' No. 9 runner at the Big Ten Championships, finishing 70th with a time of 21:52.5 - her best time of the season, 21:30 came in the open race at the Wisconsin adidas Invite (23rd overall, third on team) - sixth at the Oz Memorial - competed in five races overall - Big Ten Distinguished Scholar.
High School: A graduate of Jefferson High School - top-three state cross country finisher for four straight years - 2011 Minnesota state 3200 meters champion and 1600m runner-up - also won the 3200m in 2009 and the 1600m in 2010 - finished second in the 1600m and third in the 3200m at the 2012 state meet - set personal and Section 8AA meet records in the 1600m (4:54.19) and 3200m (10:24.57) - All-Central Lakes Conference performer every year - named team MVP five times for both cross country and distance track events - holds school records in 4000m cross country and the outdoor and indoor 1600m and 3200m - graduated with a 4.0 GPA.
Personal: Born October 6, 1993 - daughter of Tracey and Mardi Piepenburg - has a brother, Trenton - major is genetics and cell biology - enjoys dancing and reading.
