Ben Dolezal is in his first year as assistant to the head coach. He joined the Gopher women’s basketball program as an administration intern for the 2015-16 season.
Dolezal’s responsibilities include managing coach Marlene Stollings’ calendar and scheduling travel for the staff. He also assists with recruiting correspondence, manages the team office and is one of the team’s liaisons with donors and alumni.
As an intern with the Gophers last season, Dolezal managed the scout team, managed office logistics, and assisted with team video needs and scheduling recruiting trips.
Dolezal graduated from the University of Georgia in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in sport management. He was the women’s basketball manager for two years at Georgia, and also gained experience as director of basketball operations for the North Georgia Heat.
