2024 Outdoor Track & Field • Senior Season: Named Academic All-Big Ten... Did not compete outdoors.
2024 Indoor Track & Field • Senior Season: Raced in three events during the indoor campaign... Was fifth in the 3000m at the Gopher Classic and was 14th in the mile at the Snowshoe Open.
2023 Cross Country • Senior Season: Named Academic All-Big Ten... Ran to a finish in five different cross country events... Opened the season with a 5K personal best time of 19:16.7, finishing 14th... Was 76th at the Wisconsin Badger Classic... Ran a 6K lifetime best time of 23:24.3 at the XC23 College & Open in Virginia.
2023 Outdoor Track & Field • Junior Season: Earned Academic All-Big Ten honors as well as the Big Ten Distinguished Scholar distinction... Made postseason debut in third year the University of Minnesota at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships... Ran in a total of four meets during the season, exclusively in the steeplechase... Ran a lifetime best time of 11:01.55 at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships, good enough for 13th... Finished third at both the Bethel Invite and the Jim Click Shootout in the steeplechase... Competed at the Drake Relays in the steeplechase, clocking a time of 11:23.96 to finish 31st.
2023 Indoor Track & Field • Junior Season: Was able to represent the Maroon and Gold in four different indoor meets, the first indoor meets of Howes' career... Made indoor debut at the Cyclone Open in the 3000m and finished 19th... Ran a 3000m lifetime best at the Windy City Invite, clocking a time of 10:28.63... Ran a indoor mile personal best time of 5:06.44 at the Snowshoe Open to finish third... Also competed at the Jack Johnson Classic.
2022 Cross Country • Junior Season: Posted two different lifetime best times, one in the 5K and the other at the 6K distance... Ran in a total of four cross country meets... Was 18th at the Oz Memorial at the 5K distance in a time of 20:26.70... Competed at the Griak Invitational... Posted a lifetime best 6K time of 23:26.00 at the Nuttycombe Invitational... Also competed at the Blugold Invite.
2022 Outdoor Track & Field • Sophomore Season: Competed in five different meets during sophomore campaign outdoors... Made season debut at the Hamline Invite, posting 800m and 1500m lifetime best times of 2:26.58 and 4:50.15... Ran the 3000m steeplechase three times during the season and posted a season best time of 11:29.53 at the St. Thomas Tommie Twilight to finish fourth... Was the runner up at the Holst Invite in the steeplechase... Also competed at the Janis Rider/Doug Bolstorff Invite and the St. Thomas Tom Cat Invite.

2021 Cross Country • Sophomore Season: Named an Academic All-Big Ten honoree • opened the season with a personal best 6k time of 24:15.0 at the St. Olaf Invitational, crossing the line 43rd overall and fifth on the team • placed 217th (25:35.5) overall in the women’s gold 6k race at the Roy Griak Invitational • finished 97th at the Blugold Invite in a time of 24:56.4 • claimed fifth at Jack’s Twilight Run in a time of 24:15 • crossed the line fifth at Rocky’s Run (25:27).
