A native of Edina, Minn. • graduated from Edina High School • earned six varsity letters in golf • coach was Mark Havalstad • a four-time All-State and five-time All-Classic Lake Conference selection • helped team to back-to-back Minnesota Class AA state appearances • team finished second in 2010 and third in 2009 • placed individually in four straight state meets, including fifth in 2009 and ninth in 2010.

Born July 23, 1992 • daughter of Renelle and Doug Nelson • has three older siblings, Tyler, Brett and Carleigh • enjoys music, snowboarding and dancing • plans to major in communications.
