Competed three times, each individually • Tied for 61st at the Minnesota Invitational (79-73-74—226, +10), making her competitive debut with the Gophers • Finished T-79th at the Clover Cup (78-79-91—248, +32) and T-70th at the Lady Buckeye Spring Invitational (77-83—160, +16).
2016-17 | FRESHMAN SEASON:
Did not compete as she sat out the year with a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Three-year letterwinner for the Hornets … was selected All-Lake Conference her junior and senior years after winning the team conference and state titles both seasons … won the junior club championship at Olympic Hills Golf Club … placed multiple times during junior PGA competition ... also earned two letters for community service.
PERSONAL:
Parents are Britt and Joe Portillo … Has one older brother, Anders … Father played college baseball ... lists most memorable sports accomplishment as shooting 72 at State tournament to tie for fourth and winning team state title twice … hobbies include singing, volunteering and dog rescue … plans to major in business management or marketing.
