Competed in exhibitions in Minnesota's first three meets before making her lineup debut Jan. 24 at Nebraska • totaled a 9.600 on vault in an exhibition at Utah (Jan. 2) • went 9.725 on vault and 8.900 on bars exhibitions vs. Arkansas (Jan. 10) • tallied a 9.775 on vault exhibition vs. Michigan (Jan. 17) • went 9.575 on her bars debut at Nebraska (Jan. 24) • in her vault debut, went 9.875 against UCLA (Feb. 7) • posted a 9.825 vault score at Penn State (Feb. 14) • tallied a 9.800 on vault at Washington (Feb. 20).
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB
Nguyen competed in club at Legacy Gymnastics, coached by Kari and Will Vaughn • at the 2025 state meet, Nguyen placed first in the all-around (37.725), vault (9.600) and bars (9.400) • she took second on beam (9.450) and third on the floor (9.275) • a four-time regionals qualifier, Nguyen tied for fourth on vault and got seventh on floor at regionals last year • in 2022, she earned fifth place on bars at the state meet • her high scores include 9.4 on vault, 9.15 on bars, 9.0 on beam and 9.2 on the floor.

The daughter of Tracey and Son Nguyen, Isabella has two older brothers, Jack and Nick, and an older sister, Sophia • both of her parents attended the University of Minnesota for school in addition to Sophia • she's undecided on what her major will be at the 'U.'
WHY MINNESOTA:
"I chose Minnesota because the team atmosphere is so welcoming and the team works so hard," Nguyen said. "I've grown up watching all the Gopher meets and it feels like home."
