2025-26 | SOPHOMORE
CRCA Scholar-Athlete Award
Academic All-Big Ten
• Took to the water five times for the Gophers during the year
• Concluded the season with a strong performance at the Big Ten Championships (May 15 & 17), driving the 2V8 to a runner-up finish in the Petite Final after placing fourth in the opening-day heats
• Swept the competition on Lake Phalen during the Twin Cities 2K (May 2), going undefeated on the 2V8 behind race wins in both the heats and the finals
• Battled through three sessions at the Big Ten Invitational (Apr. 18-19) in California, securing third-place finishes in each race with the 2V8 boat
• Raced twice at Virginia's Rivanna Romp (Nov. 9) to wrap up the fall schedule, finishing 10th with the 2V8 lineup and adding a 13th-place effort as part of the 3V4 crew
• Kicked off the year with back-to-back top-three performances at the Head of the Mississippi Regatta (Oct. 4), placing second with the 4V4 boat and taking third in the 3V8
• Earned first varsity letter

2024-25 | FRESHMAN
• Competed in four regattas for the Gophers during her first year on campus
• Closed the Big Ten Conference Championships (May 18) by winning the 2N8 Petite Finals after placing fourth in the heats to begin the competition (May 17)
• Turned in fifth and fourth-place efforts with the 1N8 crew to start the Big Ten Invitational (Apr. 18) and added a third-place finish in the final session (Apr. 19)
• Won a race against both Iowa and Kansas as part of the 2N8 boat to begin the Big 12/Big Ten Double Duel (Apr. 11-12) before finishing second during day two
• Made her collegiate debut at the Head of the Mississippi Regatta (Oct. 5) and placed third with the 3V8 crew

PERSONAL
• Daughter of Joel and Kristen Fauson
• Father, Joel, competed on the men's rowing team at Michigan State
• Has an older sister, Ella, and a younger brother, Ford
• Graduated Summa Cum Laude from Forest Hills Central High School in 2024
• Competed with the Washtenaw Rowing Center and placed seventh at the 2022 Women's U23 Canadian Henley
• Won a Women's JV8 state championship in 2022, following a Novice 8 state title in 2021
• Picked up a first-place finish at the 2022 Women's JV8 Midwest championship and went on to finish seventh at SRAA Nationals
• Was an AP Scholar and a member of the National Honor Society
• Earned the English department's Excellent in Literature Award and was a four-time High Academic Excellence Award winner
• An avid reader, she finished 93 books during her senior year of high school
• Plans to major in English literature with a minor in Russian while at Minnesota
