Cassie Drozynski

Cassie Drozynski is in her third year as the Golden Gopher assistant varsity coach. Drozynski joined the Golden Gopher staff full-time after one semester as a graduate assistant at her alma mater, following a four-year letterwinner career with the Gophers.
Prior to her coaching at Minnesota, Drozynski served as an assistant coach for the Three Rivers Rowing Association in Pittsburgh, Pa. While there, she coached the novice men’s junior team, masters women team and directed both the summer corporate program and winter rowing leagues.
During her time as a student-athlete at Minnesota (2008-2013), Drozynski was a four-year letterwinner and a member of the First Varsity Eight. As a Gopher, she also earned First Team All-Big Ten, CRCA National Scholar Athlete, and Scholar-Athlete honors.
Drozynski graduated from Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. She is in the process of completing her master’s degree in sport management.
A native of Pittsburgh, she was a member of the Mt. Lebanon High School rowing team and spent two summers training with the US Junior National team.
