Lauren Miller enters her first season with the Gophers as a graduate assistant. Miller will be pursuing her Master's in Kinesiology at the U.

Miller is a 2018 graduate from the University of Minnesota and spent five seasons on the rowing team. As a student-athlete for the Gophers, she was a four-time Academic All-Big Ten selection and three-time CRCA Scholar-Athlete. The St. Cloud, Minn. native earned a BS in neuroscience with a minor in art.

During her undergrad, she spent her summers rowing at the Minnesota Dev Camp, Riverside Boat Club with both the Under 23 and High Performance Group, and was invited to the Under 23 National Selection Camp.

After graduation, Miller moved out to Saratoga Springs, NY to train with the Advanced Rowing Initiative of the Northeast (ARION), an elite sculling team based out of Saratoga Rowing Association. She was also a rowing coach for the Saratoga junior team and a strength coach for Niskayuna Rowing while in New York.

Miller plans on continuing to be involved in both rowing and strength coaching, and eventually pursuing a PsyD in Sports Psychology.
