Martha Brummitt takes over the duties of rigger for the Gopher Rowing team at the Irene Claudia Kroll Boathouse for the 2018-19 season.
Prior to landing on campus, Brummitt served as a program coordinator and instructor at Urban Boatbuilders in St. Paul, where she supervised, managed, and trained over 60 employees and volunteers while also teaching youth to build and repair skin-on-frame boats. Additionally, she has served as an instructor at the Minneapolis Sailing Center, an intern/instructor in facilities at the North House Folk School in Grand Marais, Minnesota, and a program manager at Big City Mountaineers in Chicago.
Brummitt received a Bachelor of Arts in geology from the Colorado College in 2011.
