2018-19 Junior Season: Academic All-Big Ten • All-American in the 400 medley relay and Honorable Mention All-American in the 800 free relay and the 200 medley relay. • At the NCAA Championships, was part of the 800 free relay team that placed sixteenth (7:00.34), part of the 400 medley relay team that placed seventh (3:29.94), and was part of the 200 medley relay team that placed eleventh (1:36.65) • At the Big Ten Championships, part of the team that finished fifth and with an A cut time in the 200 Medley (1:36.22), second and an A cut time in the 800 Free relay (7:00.10), and fourth and an A cut time in the 400 Medley relay (3:32.16), third in the 100 fly (52.00), fourth in the 100 back (52.28), fourth in the 200 back (1:53.68), and helped the 400 Free relay team place fifth (3:16.84). • Finished first in the 100 back (53.60), second in the 200 back (1:56.79), and first in the 100 fly (53.68) against Purdue and Northwestern. • Took first place in the 100 fly (54.37) against USC and Oregon State. • Placed first in both the 100 back (54.07) and the 200 back (1:57.30) at the Hawaii Dual. • Finished first in the 500 free (4:45.42) and the 200 free (1:46.58) at the Minnesota Invite. • At the Iowa Invitational, helped the 200 Free relay (1:31.25), 400 Medley relay (3:34.76), 200 Medley relay (1:37.82), 800 Free relay (7:09.22), and 400 Free relay (3:16.10) to a first place finish, took first in the 200 IM (1:57.83), first in the 100 fly (52.08), first in the 100 back (52.48), and first in the 200 back (1:52.46). • Finished first in the 100 back (54.55) and second in the 200 back (1:58.98) at the Florida State Dual. • Placed third in the 100 back (54.89) and second in the 100 fly (54.55) at the Wisconsin Dual.

2017-18 Sophomore Season: All-American in the 200-yard medley relay (sixth, 1:36.03), 400-yard medley relay (fifth, 3:28.34, School Record) and All-American Honorable Mention in the 100-yard back with a 16th place finish (52.31) at the NCAA Championships  •  At the Big Ten Championships won silver as the backstroke leg of the 200 medley relay (1:35.06, School Record) and 400 medley relay (3:28.96), fourth in the 100-yard back (52.44), fifth in the 200-yard free relay (1:30.67), seventh in the 200-yard backstroke (1:54.84) and ninth in the 100-yard fly (52.31). • Finished first in the 200-yard IM (2:00.56), second in the 100-yard fly (53.68), first in the 100-yard back (52.39), and first in the 200-yard back (1:54.84) at the Minnesota Invitational • finished first in the 100-yard back (53.25) against Michigan, Penn State, and Wisconsin at the Quad Dual 

2016-17 Freshman Season: Big Ten Freshman of the Year • All-Big Ten Team • Named Most Improved by teammates • NCAA All-American Honorable Mention in the 800-yard free relay, 200-yard medley relay, 400-yard medley relay • Big Ten Champion in the 100-yard back (52.09) and 200-yard medley relay (1:35.55, Big Ten Record) • Also earned silver in the 400-yard medley relay (3:30.70) and 400-yard free relay (3:15.91) • Bronze in the 800-yard free relay (7:00.61), sixth in the 200-yard back and seventh (1:54.40) in the 100-yard fly (52.70) at Big Ten Championships • Won the 100-yard back, 100-yard fly and two relays at the B1G Triple Duals against Purdue and Northwestern • First place in the 100-yard back, and four relays in wins over Denver and Wyoming • Secured three wins against Hawaii and Drury • Helped the Gophers sweep all five relays at the AT&T Winter National Championships • Won the 100-yard back, 200-yard IM, 400-medley relay and 400-yard free relay along with a silver finish in the 100-yard fly at the Jean K. High School/Club: Graduate of Mitchell High School • set eight state records in events including the 100 fly (53.07), 100 back (54.07), 100 free (50.69), 200 back (1:56.55), 200 free (1:49.37), 500 free (4:52.57), 1000 free (9:59.90) and 1,650 free (17:20.92) • named the 2015 South Dakota Female Athlete of the Year • earned title of KORN Elite Eight Athletes of the Year Captain (2015-16) • named the KMIT Student Athlete of the Year (2015-16) • earned National Guard Warrior Student-Athlete award (2015-16) • swam at the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials • finished in sixth place in the 200 back, fourth place in the 100 fly, and sixth place in the 100 back during the 2015 Winter Junior Nationals • finished in ninth place in the 200 back, 18th place in the 100 back, and 20th place in the 100 fly at the 2015 Minneapolis Arena Pro Swim Series • swam for coach Kyle Margheim at the Mitchell Aquatic Club.

Personal: Daughter of Melissa and Blake Waddell • has two siblings, Regan and Landon • was the 2016 South Dakota Pole Vault state champion • intends to major in biology.
