High School: A 2008 graduate of New London High School • high school coach was Patrick Jarvis • a three-time Wisconsin Division I state track meet participant, once in the 1,600 meters and twice in the 3,200 meters • competed in two Wisconsin state cross country meets • the 2005, 2006 and 2007 Bay Conference cross country individual champion • won two conference titles in the 3,200 meters • earned four varsity letters in both cross country and track • a member of the National Honor Society.
