dropping his first match, earned first career win on Nov. 15 at the Bison Open,
winning by major decision • went 1-2 at the Bison Open • earned his first career fall
on Nov. 23 at the Kaufman/Brand Open in his first match of the day, pinning Alec
Hoffman of Northern Iowa • went on to finish 5-1 in the meet to claim third place
honors and did not allow a point to his final two opponents • only loss of the meet
was to the eventual runner-up • claimed runner-up honors at the Minnesota West
Open on Jan. 17, losing to teammate Matt Mincey in the title match• named a U of
MMaroonScholar Athlete.
