  • Bumped up to 133 pounds to make his dual debut against No. 24 Zan Fugitt of Wisconsin in an 8-4 loss
  • Won the Jim Koch Open with a 4-0 record, including a major decision in the championship
  • Went 1-2 at the Daktronics Open
  • Made collegiate debut at the Bison Open with a 1-2 record, including a major decision victory in his first match
HIGH SCHOOL
  • Attended Hastings High School in Hastings, Minn., where he won two individual state championships and ended his prep career with a record of 184-8
  • As a senior, wrapped up a 51-2 campaign with a third-place finish at 121 pounds
  • Helped Hastings to the Class AAA team championship in 2023 and took home the 113-pound title himself with a 52-1 record
  • In his sophomore season, was 49-2 en route to the state championship at 106 pounds
  • Placed fifth as a freshman at 106 pounds
  • Ranked ninth in the state of Minnesota by The Guillotine in its pound-for-pound rankings, while MatScouts ranked him No. 246 nationally on its final Big Board
  • Finished third at the 2024 Fargo Nationals at 120 lbs as the No. 19 seed
  • Qualified for the 2023 Freestyle Junior Nationals at 120 pounds after winning the state freestyle championship and reaching the semifinals of the Northern Plains Regional
  • In 2022, won the Northern Plains Regional for freestyle at 113 pounds and was the runner-up at the same event for Greco-Roman
