Nick Dardanes joined the University of Minnesota wrestling staff as an administrative assistant in 2015 after graduating from the U at the end of a successful collegiate career.
Dardanes earned All-America honors in 2013 and was a three-time NCAA qualifier, qualifying all three seasons he started for Minnesota. His 109 career victories are tied for 33rd on the Gophers’ all-time list. His 138 career matches to reach that number are fewer than many of his fellow Gophers just below or above him on that all-time list, and his .790 career winning percentage is just outside the program’s top 30.
