Tallied a 14-4 mark at 174 lbs. • Competed solely in open meets • Won two matches by major decision and one by technical fall • Earned first career win in first career match, claiming a 7-2 decision over Shannon Fettig of NDSU on Nov. 15 • Opened the season at the Bison Open on Nov. 15 and went 3-1 to claim runner-up honors • Tallied a fall and two major decisions before narrowly losing the title match 4-5 • First career major decision was a 10-2 win over Ethan Hackbarth of Rochester Community & Technical College • Ran though the Kaufman/Brand Amateur unscathed to finish as champion at 4-0 • Collected first career technical fall in the opening match, winning 20-3 • Posted a 9-4 decision in the title match • Claimed the title at the Flash Open in early January • Earned runner-up honors at the Minnesota West Open • Named a U of M Maroon Scholar Athlete.
