Went 18-6 overall with three pins and three major decisions in his second year with the Gophers Captured the 133 pound title at the North Country Open after pinning James Woiwor of St. Johns at 2:07 in the first round and a 13-4 major decision over Adam Joseph in the championship  Defeated Cal-State Fullerton's Marcus Orona 5-3 in the Gophers' 39-0 stomping of the Titans Placed fourth at the Kaufman-Brand Open Finished 2-1 at the Northern Quad Open with a 10-1 major decision over Justin Solberg of North Dakota State, a 7-5 win over Appalachian State's Chris Johnson and a loss to Central Michigan's Scotti Sentes in a major decision Won the Bison Open Earned his second letter.
