CROASTON WINS ONE METER DIVING COMPETITION AT ALL-AMERICAN INVITATIONAL

AustiUniversity of Minnesota sophomore Dan Croaston of Champlin, Minn., won the one meter diving competition at the All-American Diving Invitational in Austin, Texas. He scored 348.60 points, 20.55 points better than Texas sophomore Grant Gritzmacher and 24.70 points better than Texas senior Ryan Harmon.

Croaston finished first out of a field of 33 college divers in the open one meter competition. Croaston needed just 5.2 from each judge on his final dive, but he earned 7.5s and 8.0s from the five judges to win the competition.

Croaston finished fourth overall in the semifinals of the three meter diving competition with 482.85 points. He did not qualify for the finals.
