HAUG AND MICHALOWSKI ADVANCE IN DOUBLES AT AA CHAMPIONSHIPS

quaUniversity of Minnesota sophomore Thomas Haug and senior Martin Michalowski advanced through the qualifying rounds to the main draw doubles competition at the All-American Championships in Austin, Texas. The main draw doubles competition will begin tomorrow.

Haug and Michalowski defeated Willy Campos and Shannon Nettre of Troy State, 6-4, 7-6 (4). Junior Tyson Parry dropped out of singles competition, after dropping his match to Scott Eddins of Texas Christian University, 6-4, 6-4. Haug also dropped out of singles competition, losing to Lance Mills of Nebraska, 6-4, 6-2.
