MINNESOTA MEN'S TENNIS TOPS PENN STATE 5-2

Minnesota took five of the six singles matches as Harsh Mankad defeated Jamie Gresh at No. 1 singles, 6-4, 6-1. At No. 2 singles, Jorge Duenas cruised past Steven van der Westhuvzen, 6-1, 6-0. Also earning victories were Jon Svensson, Aleksey Zharinov and Chris Wettengel.
The Nittany Lions earned the doubles point with two victories in the three matches. Eric Robertson and Steve Solberg captured the lone victory as they defeated Chris DeStefano and Matt Frakes at No. 2 doubles, 8-3.
