performeThe University of Minnesota men's track 4x400m relay took fourth place in the finals at the 74th annual Texas Relays in Austin, Texas. The group ran a time of 3:09.32.
The Golden Gophers performed very well at one of the country's premiere meets. They placed in the top 10 in six of the 10 events they entered. The 4x400 relay and junior Lyndon McDowell in the decathlon were Minnesota's highest finishers, with both placing fourth. Other top 10 finishes included senior Mark Fahey (10th, discus), sprint medley relay (7th), distance medley relay (7th), and 4x800m relay (6th).
Next up on the Golden Gophers' schedule is the Sea Ray Relays, April 12-14 in Knoxville, Tenn.
