Golden Gopher Men's Tennis Defeats Iowa 5-2

Minnesota claimed the doubles point with two victories in the three matches. Avery Ticer and Aleksey Zharinov improved to 17-4 on the season with an 8-3 victory at No. 1 doubles. Manuel Lievano and Eric Robertson also prevailed at No. 3 doubles.
Minnesota claimed four wins in the six singles matches, highlighted by Harsh Mankad, the nation's number one singles player. Mankad improved to 22-3 on the season and 7-0 in the league with a 6-4, 6-1 win over No. 92 Stuart Waters. Zharinov won at No. 2 doubles, while Boris Kuharic and Eric Robertson prevailed at No. 5 and 6 singles, respectively.
