Ticer and Estes Eliminated at ITA All-American Pre-Qualifiers

Ticer opened the day with 6-3, 6-4 loss to Vlad Obradovic of Florida. For the tournament, Ticer went 3-1 and was the lone Golden Gopher to win a match in the singles draw
In doubles play, Ticer and Estes fell to Zach Dailey/Lewis Smith of Vanderbilt, 8-4, finishing the tournament with a 2-1 record.
The ITA All-American Pre-Qualifiers continue through Monday, Oct. 6, at the Champions Club in Chattanooga, Tenn.
The ITA All-American Championships is the first of three national championship events during the 2003-04 collegiate tennis season. The tournament includes six days of qualifying matches leading up to the Oct. 9-12, 64-player, 32-doubles team main draw. The Icy Hot/ITA Men's All-American Championship, the largest single tournament in the country, offer the first national singles and doubles titles of the season, and are followed by the ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships in November and the the season-ending NCAA Championships in May.
